Gosh, the weather. It just had to be documented. It’s the middle of April but it seems like high summer, so here are photos from a little stroll in Regents Park.
Being cherry blossom season, I wanted to find some pink and white ones. I knew that there is the Avenue of cherry trees on either side of Chester Road. This year you won’t find any there as the trees are being replaced with new ones for next year.
You can sponsor a cherry blossom tree. Here’s the updated Regents Park Cherry Tree Fund.
Happy that I found some…
Soon the season will be over and we’ll have to wait for another year. Have a good weekend. See you back here on Monday x

Beautiful Tina. I’m just lining up a painter whose current body of work features pink blossom and cobalt blue for a show we’re doing in October. There’s nothing more uplifting than seeing blossom against a gorgeous deep blue sky. x
Oh, how I miss that weather, especially today. It was truly a glorious day. Look forward to seeing more of your exhibitions when time allows xx
When I was a student I worked in a bookshop (I may possibly have the record for working in the most London bookshops!)on Margaret Street. I used to go to Regents Park every lunchtime. I loved to watch the seasons change. We are so lucky in London with our parks.
You have a good weekend, too xx
Ha. I bet you loved every one of your jobs in these bookshops. The good old days when there were lots of independent bookshops.
Bet you loved going to Regents Park every day.
We are truly lucky in London with our parks xx
It’s so beautiful (and hard) to see the images of cherry blossoms in the northern hemisphere at the moment. I always dream of having one in my garden along with a magnolia, jacaranda and frangipani. Hope you had a lovely weekend Tina. M xx
Ha. That garden would be stunning and you would never leave it x
Beautiful photos! I can’t believe how lush the blossoms are. Thanks for sharing Tina, much needed for me, since here in Quebec, the trees are all still quite bare.
xoxo
Thank you sis. Anytime. It’s been quite glorious here. xx
