Well, how grey and dark have the last few days been? It was impossible to get any decent photography done. We bloggers know how to improvise, right?

Without further ado, let me show you snippets of my boudoir!
This here below is my side of the bed. I have always absolutely loved Kartell’s Componibili Circular Storage Unit which I use as a bedside table. To be honest, I’ve outgrown it and I’ve been looking for a new piece to replace it with little success. My bedroom is quite minimalist as the rest of the flat is rather bright and bold.

I only have room for small pots and plants on my night table. Succulents are never too far away. During summer months I like to have fresh flowers.
I LOVE this handmade ceramic vessel which I filled with a spider plant.

There are actually 2 or 3 different colourways in this fabric. One is Gerusalemme by night. Here I’ve used some creative licence to imagine what this fabric would look like with these colours!
I found this little gem in a gorgeous little shop. I’m not going to reveal it just yet as I will blog about it soon. It’s not easy to find small and delicate porcelain hanging vases. I thought the air plant was perfect for it and is easy to care for.

The hanging vase lives in the living room, hanging from a velux window. Sometimes I bring it into the bedroom and hang it from my magazine rack as seen here. Allow me a little creative licence.

Ah it is so good to know that we are not the only ones suffering of literally no decent daylight for photography. I had a real hard time shooting my bedroom pics!

I love that first image with the giant wall hanging and matching cushions (without a repetitive pattern!!!) and the Jieldé, it’s very Colourliving! Like you (and I think all Urban Jungle Bloggers!) I struggled to shoot decent pictures with these super short and dark days, but you did very well 😉 The little porcelain airplant hanger is very nice, is it handmade? I totally imagine you walking through your home with it and giving it a nice new spot. Thank you for playing along again, Tina!
Ha. You know I remember when I got the fabric sewn together. I was very specific where I wanted a repeat. It’s done in such a way that you can’t even see where it’s stitched together and it’s hard to see a repeat pattern:-))
Oh, my bedroom for those 2 days was like pitch dark, although I have quite a big window in it..
Yes, the porcelain hanging vase is hand made so is the one on my night table.
Right now, the hanging plant is back in the living area:-)
Hello, we have much more sun in Rome I suppose but still I struggle to take decent indoor pictures sometimes. I love the Fornasetti Gerusalemme fabric and I am lookin forward for the post about the shop that sell ceramic hanging vases because I am redecorating a bar up in Rome with high bricks vaults and I want to hang some plants from the ceiling.

Oh lovely to see a little more of your home:) I love that ceramic hanging planter – I need to get something for my little airplant that I’ve had for almost a year and just drifts around the home.. Oh, where do you keep your airplant? Do you water it once a week. I bought it because very little else fitted in the hanging vase. But I really like the combo.
Aha, another Kartell fan. I started off with a white one, now that one moved to the bathroom when I wanted a black one. have you seen the copper one?

I’m often playing around with the idea of changing things up in the bedroom. Part of me would like a wall gallery with lots and lots of prints
and artworks. Then, another part doesn’t want to get rid of the Fornasetti fabric…. dilemmas! Hope you’re moving soon xx
