Abigail Ahern – New Store

June 16, 2016

As a long-term Abigail Ahern fan I was delighted to hear that the new store, only a few minutes down the road from the old one, opened to the public this morning at 10.30am. Being in my hood, I took the Vespa and zoomed down to snap a few pics for you.

As expected, it is bigger, better and feels like all these wonderful products can now breathe a little. Personally I like small spaces. They feel cozy and intimate but Abigail and her team have managed to make this much larger space equally beautiful and intimate. It’s the kind of place where you want to hang out a bit, take a seat and admire all the products around you.

You’ll find new art in the shop. I particularly liked this display.

That gorgeous chandelier that used to dominate the old shop now has the space it deserves.

Quite fancied these palm trees as wall decoration.

That shaggy palm lamp light has always been one of my favourite. Liking the Mae sculpture.

Abigail is the queen of faux flowers. These Allium White ones have such great texture. Makes me want to paint them.

Not sure of the name of these yellow beauties. We need as much colour as possible with this rainy weather in June.

I literally just popped in so haven’t had a good look at all the new products. From my initial reaction it’s a stunning space expertly Abihail Ahernified. For those not able to come to Islington, there’s another shop in the Westend. It’s their flagship faux florist at Heal’s and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. But to see the whole range and be transported into the world of AA, do yourself a favour and visit this unique lifestyle store.

This is so great! Wow! You MUST be the first to blog about it!!! Thanks so much for the peek. I have zero chance of getting anywhere near it this year so this was extra special.
Love the palm tree wall hangings!

      Hi Hilda.

Haha. Probably. I live only 10 mns away so popped in fairly soon after they had opened.

Aww, I’m really glad this helped give you a sneak peek and hopefully you’ll get to go yourself real soon.
